About the Archives The Gilman School Archives documents the history of the school from the time of its founding in 1897 to the present- a span of 109 years.  The collection includes photographs, document, publications, and various types of memorabilia as well as rare books.  The principle collection focuses on class pictures.  There is a box of photographs for each class starting in 1903.  Also, we have a complete collection of Cynosures from the first publication in 1918.  Our collection of The Blue and The Gray starts in 1901.
